Overview
PolimiBot (@alpolimi_bot ) is a Telegram bot that helps students at Politecnico di Milano find a free study room in real time.
Finding a quiet spot to study on a busy campus is harder than it sounds. The university’s official website does list room schedules, but navigating it to figure out which rooms are currently free is slow and cumbersome. PolimiBot solves this with a single command.

How It Works
The bot is built in Python and periodically fetches schedule data from the Polimi website. When a user sends a command, the bot computes which rooms have no lessons scheduled at that moment and returns the list sorted by campus.
The bot was well received by the student community and became a useful daily tool for anyone looking for a quiet place to study.
